Sissinghurst Castle Garden
Kent’s most famous garden.

Go explore
“A refuge dedicated to beauty,” so says the National Trust website. Sissinghurst is rightly that, and then some. The world renowned garden is, of course, the star of the show. But this place has been a backdrop for such diverse history – from its time as a prison in the 1700s, to being a home to the women’s land army. Do not miss the brilliant panoramic views from the top of the Tower.
“This place has it all. Beautiful gardens, beautiful country walks (especially round the lakes), wonderful food in the light and airy restaurant, wonderful views and interesting history.”
