Archbishop’s Palace
Maidstone’s impressive registry office.

A resting place
Originally a resting place for travelling archbishops traversing Kent from Canterbury, Maidstone’s Archbishop's Palace is a Grade I listed thing of beauty. Nestled on the bank of the River Medway, the building is now used for weddings, but could soon turn into a hotel and restaurant.
