Abbot’s Cliff
Home to Kent’s huge sound mirrors.

Historic journey
Abbot’s Cliff is part of the White Cliffs of Dover. From up here, the views are breathtaking across the English Channel. Below is the Samphire Hoe Country Park. But the real reason to visit is the giant sound mirror, built in 1928 to give an early warning of approaching enemy aircraft.
